Danielle had just turned 16 but she felt 20. She felt she could do everything on her own. make her own decisions. make her own life. She soon learned the technique of lieing. she could lie to friends, teachers, but now she finally learned to lie to her parents. She would says shes staying at a friends yet come home the next day smelling of alcohol and smoke. her parents just turned the other way. Still trusting her lies. Danielle meet some new friends. James. James was 22, had a job, a house, a car and beer. In her eyes he was "cool". Little did she know about his past. Days and weeks went by. Every weekend being the same. Partying. Getting wasted. One night came and James asked Danielle if she would ride with him to get food for everyone. As he needed help carrying all the food. She agreed. As they passed the nearest McDonalds she asked where they were going. He said in order to sober up he needed to drive around, so they would go to the farthest McDonalds. The rest of the ride was silent. James pulled into a auto parts store. Danielle started to get fidgety. She didnt understand.
What was happening? He put the car in park. All was silent. James told her to unbuckle. She did as was told. He soon began to touch her. Danielle started to cry not knowing what to do. Who to call. Where to run. She tried blocking it all. Fumbling for her phone. James was strong. He took the phone ignoring her pleas. Holding her down. Danielle began to cry. This irritated him. With a quick movement he reached under his seat. She could see in the glistening moonlight the color of slick black. A gun. From that moment on her memory blurred, her emotions numbed. After he was done with her they went to McDonalds and back to his house. Acting as if nothing was wrong. She sat in the car not knowing if she could move, still numb from feeling. Act normal was all he said. She got out and did as was told. She left that night still acting normal. The next weekend came along. She still went to James' as normal. It was a month later she finally came clean. To everyone. To herself. This was not her fault, but rather his. Danielle had won.
